Hi Margit,
Thanks for your message today. We've had a good holiday season with some of our family---our Denver contingent wasn't here and won't get back until my Mother's 100th birthday on Easter Sunday weekend. Our sad news is that Bing and Bart's brother, Brent, died last Thursday. He has had Parkinson's Disease for 20 years and had done quite well for many of those years---thanks to a Johns Hopkins Program in which we know he was on some experimental drugs. Unfortunately his last few years have been difficult---so perhaps it was the right time. We'll be down in Sandy Spring, MD for a memorial service on March 7th and 8th.
Thanks for sending more snow up our way. I'm sorry you all have had so much of it this year-----but we never seem to know whether we are going to get it or not and it has caused problems during commuting hours and for me planning weekly visits with my Mom in CT.
Stay well----
Marcy
Margit,
Thanks so much for letting us know about Sandy. What a tragedy! It was nice to be able to read the very personal obituary-----Sandy sounds like a wonderful mother and friend---and a very strong woman.

Margit, I too am sorry to have missed the 50th. It was the one I had targeted but my beloved has health issues and I simply could not make the trip. Seems to me all of my classmates have cheated "old man time", meaning those who are still alive, and managed to age beautifully. God Bless you.....and let the folks know I'll make tee times for the golfers if they come to sunny (but very cold this week) West Palm Beach, Florida.....jim
You and Debbie have done a wonderful job for us all by putting these photos up on the internet We appreciate it and we love seeing everyone at the reunion.
It will be fun to keep in touch with the group. I will be happy to update the email list if I have the addresses. It seems that we haven't seen the correction list...but we have only been home a few days. We had another trip to Wilmington a couple of days later. Bill and I had a great time reconnecting with friends. We loved it! Thanks, Dan, Dan's wife, Jan and her whole family, Bart, Jan Fritz, and Marcy and Bing for doing so much work on the reunion.
We loved having brunch at the Carlsons for a final goodbye. Diana and Bill
Yes, I think Dan is the best source of the correct email addresses. Jan has them too, but I do know there are some errors in her list. Again, thanks!
Marcy
Thanks, Margit for your message and for setting this site up! It was wonderful to see you again---and I certainly hope you will get in touch when you are back in the area. We were so pleased that classmates seemed to really enjoy the reunion weekend and reconnecting. Now you've enabled us to stay in touch and perhaps reach out to people we've lost. Thank you!
Bing and I flew to Denver on Wednesday, to see our youngest and her family for the weekend. We had SNOW! Now that we've arrived back home, fall weather has arrived. When I get some pictures edited on my computer, I'll figure out how to add more. What you have already are lots of fun to look through.
Again, thanks!
Marcy
I'm sure this is a very good way to stay in touch. This is my first encounter with this sort of communication so I'm slow, hesitent and will need help from my kids. I enjoyed your photos and will now try to see Debbie Chiles additions. enjoy the day. xojan
They are uploading as we speak! Some may not be able to be loaded as I was only allowed to upload 100 and I had quite a few more. They are also on Picasa.com under the heading HGHS Reunion October 2-4,2009. You join for free and then can access the photos.
I loved seeing you as well and hope we can get together again in the not too distant future.
